Unless you have been under a rock or too busy to know real hip hop music, Don Trip writes a very heart felt song with Letter To My Child.

A good friend of mine posted this first video on my Facebook like 6 months ago, and since the first time seeing the video I was speechless. How can a stranger from a different walk of life write a song about what I'm going through? To make a long story short, I went down that road and I'm still on it (see the video).

Now there are two video versions to this song; the original and the remake with Cee Lo. Which by the way, Cee Lo did an amazing job keeping the song raw but making it full, if you understand music and sound. The original has more intimate moments in my opinion than the remake. I can relate more to the original, but I do like how Cee Lo added the hook to stick in your head.
